Canine Gym Beginner Skills Class

This special event is for PUPPY AND BEGINNER DOGS who want to learn the basic skills needed to participate in our Canine Gym classes. (BONUS: they’ll go home happy and TIRED!)
In this class we'll be covering:
- Paws Up
- Pivoting
- Back Up

Our Canine Gym classes are so much more than a workout routine.
They’re Fun. Dog. Fitness.
The combination of physical and mental exercise is absolutely critical to a well-balanced dog. You’ll learn exercises you can do at home, how to achieve proper form, and learn the secrets of combining the right sequences and reps for YOUR unique dog! Join us to experience what a strong bond, healthy body, and focused mind can do for your dog!
You’re welcome to join this class if you’re a current student who has attended Canine Gym previously, or have your instructor’s permission.
*This workshop counts as a class out of your package.*
Dog Park Classes (Play Groups)

Date: Friday December 4th and 18th 6-9p
Cost: 1 group class
In-person Group Class
The perfect combination of training and playtime!
We’ll teach you how to read your dog’s body language in real-time, so you’ll understand when a dog wants more interaction, and when he’s saying “no, thank you!” Knowing those signals gives you the ability to interrupt bad play, and encourage good, healthy interactions.
Registration is required, and groups will be formed based on the dog’s size and play style to ensure the best social climate for the dogs. You’ll be emailed your start time when you sign up.
Each class will be one hour between 6-9 PM, and count as a class out of your package.
Please put “Dog Park Class” in the subject line.
Prerequisites: Social dogs, who have trained a basic “here” and “place” command (can be beginner level).

Pandemic Puppy: Live Q+A!

PlayCare PJ Party!
When: Monday December 21st
Cost: Free

This event is for both humans (our PlayCare team will be wearing their jammies, too!), and dogs, so be sure to have your dog bring their favorite, cuddly ‘jammies’ or bandanas!
Don’t have pajamas? No worries, we’ve got you covered!! We’ll have extra on hand for anyone who needs them! (Just mention it to us when texting in and we’ll pass on the word to our amazing PlayCare team!!)
And, as always, if your dog prefers to be ‘au natural’, we don’t mind! (Although we do require our human team members to be wearing SOMETHING.....)

IMPORTANT NOTES:
*Sessions are available Monday, Wednesday, Friday only.
*The underwater treadmill is available 9am-12pm. You don’t need to book specific time slots, you just need to make sure your dog is dropped off before 9am to get his or her session done by noon.

In-Person Group Classes
We love our group classes, and so do our students. Here’s our updated protocols:
- Weather permitting, classes will be outdoors. (Rain and “too hot/cold” will be considered unfavorable conditions.)
- If weather is unfavorable, we’ll be indoors
- While indoors, we uphold current NJ social distancing guidelines and require masks for those who are medically capable of wearing one.

Each private session is designed to meet your individual goals. We’ll spend the time we’re together focused on what you want/need to work on, and our trainers will provide a customized and easy-to-follow training plan for you and your family.
Whether it’s teaching commands and manners, or solving the problems you want him to “unlearn”, a private lesson allows us to concentrate on just you (and anyone you’d like to bring with you) and your dog!

Play.Schedule a training session on our Aquapaws SS Underwater Treadmill System! 💦
AquaPaws SS is a unique underwater treadmill system specifically designed to give dogs the benefits of aquatic therapy for training and conditioning with increased cardio and muscle strengthening, rehab from injury, and general exercise for wellness and weight loss.
How To Schedule: Text “Water Treadmill” to 201-512-8316 for pricing and to add this service to your dog’s FastTrack lesson for the day.
Initially, the water treadmill sessions are available *ONLY* on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9a-12p. You don’t need to book specific time slots, you just need to make sure your dog is dropped off as early as possible to get his session done by noon, so he can spend the rest of the day playing with his friends.
Add-Ons: If your dog has a longer coat, or is prone to matting, you can add a pre-brush out or blow dry to your dog’s appointment depending on their size and coat length for an additional fee. When you text in “Water Treadmill” to 201-512-8316 let us know you’d like to add the pre-brush or blow dry to your dog’s water treadmill session and we can give you a quote.
