The perfect combination of training and play time!

We’ll teach you how to read your dog’s body language in real time, so you’ll understand when a dog wants more interaction, and when he’s saying “No, thank you!” Knowing those signals gives you the ability to interrupt bad play, and encourage good, healthy interactions.

Registration is required, and groups will be formed based on dog sizes and play styles to ensure the best social climate for the dogs!

Once you sign up, you’ll be emailed your start time. Each class will be one hour, and occur sometime between 6-9 PM.

Please put “Dog Park Class” in the subject line.

Prerequisites: Social dogs, who have trained a basic “Here” and “Place” command (can be beginner level).

Please RSVP By Emailing: Events@KathySanto.com and put “Dog Park Class” in the subject line.

We adore our older dogs, and know that they have special needs both physically and mentally in their senior years.  Mental cognition, physical strength, and coordination are just some of the challenges they face as they age, and we have lots of tools and tips to share with you.

In addition to answering all of your questions, we’ll also teach exercises that focus on building strength, movement, and stretching as well as games and tricks to tune up their obedience skills.  We’re excited to see all our “old timers”coming out of retirement to join us for this fun and social event!

  • Does your dog dislike being brushed or handled?
  • Do you wish that your doodle’s hair could be longer, but groomers keep having to shave him down because he’s matted?
  • Is the feedback from your groomer that your dog is “a challenge” to handle?
  • Are you unsure about the proper grooming tools (Brush, comb, both?) to use?

We’ll share our best tips to teach your dog to be more tolerant of grooming, and show you how to properly brush and comb your dog to avoid the mats that lead to a shave down.  We’ll also demonstrate nail trimming and ear cleaning techniques, and answer all your grooming and grooming behavior-related questions.

Virtual Body Language Workshop

Date: Thursday, January 14th at 8p

Cost: Free For Students, $25 For Non-Students

This is a Virtual Group Class via Zoom

For humans to effectively communicate, we’ve devised an immense vocabulary, but dogs are limited to ‘words’ formed by their body parts. Because of this, the dog must re use “words” and depend on context and combination to form his “sentence”.

Understanding what your dog is saying is extremely important to prevent bites, fights, and miscommunications between dogs and humans, and dogs and dogs.

Please RSVP By Emailing: Events@KathySanto.com and put “Body Language” in the subject line.
