Canine Gym

Our Canine Gym classes are more than a workout routine or an obedience class.
It’s Fun. Dog. Fitness.
The combination of physical and mental exercise is absolutely critical to a well-balanced dog. We’ve known dogs who have been taken out for a long run and still come home bored and destructive. We also know dogs that get obedience training daily, but they don’t truly get the exercise they need.
The combination of both—brain and body exercise—is what will help you have a well-balanced relationship with your dog, and help prevent injuries! Come see what a strong bond, healthy body, and focused mind can do for your dog!
You’re welcome to join this class if you are a current student who has attended Canine Gym previously, or have your instructor’s permission.

Dog Park Class (Play Groups)

The perfect combination of training and play time!
We’ll teach you how to read a dog’s body language so you’ll understand when a dog is wanting ‘more, please’, and when he’s saying “no, thank you!” Knowing that gives you the ability to interrupt bad play, and encourage good, healthy interactions.
Registration is required, and groups will be formed based on dog’s size and play style to ensure the best social climate for the dogs. You’ll be emailed your start time when you sign up. Each class will be one hour between 6-9 PM, and count as a class out of your package.
Please put “Dog Park Class” in the subject line.
Prerequisites: Social dogs, who have trained a basic “here” and “place” command (can be beginner level).

Nose Work For Puppies

Nosework is Hide and Seek for dogs!
One of the best ways to have fun with your puppy, create a strong bond, AND give him a brain and body workout is to focus on the most underappreciated aspect of your dog’s senses… their incredible nose! Join us for a fun and interactive class, where we teach you and your puppy how to unlock the power of the nose.
Note: Once you’ve registered for the class, we’ll send an email with a list of things to have ready for the class.

In this installment of the Pandemic Pup Series, we’ll be going over our tried and true tips to managing your puppy (or dog!) while having family or guests over. Making sure your loved ones don’t sabotage your training progress during their visit is a priority!
We’ll also talk about:
*Awesome ways to socialize your puppy (or dog!) NOW, to prepare them for the onslaught of guests over the holidays
*The best way to “dog-proof” your home, so that your dog is SAFE during the party
*Ways to make sure your puppy or dog is the best behaved guest at the event

PlayCare Events
Our PlayCare Program and PlayCare Events are reserved for our current and actively training students only.
“Actively Training” means you and your dog have attended classes, 1-1 private lesson, OR your dog has been trained in our FastTrack Program in the last two weeks!
By popular demand – Join us for our Bark-To-School Splash Party!
We’ll be hosting it across 3 days, to ensure everyone can join!

Our Splash Passes are:
– 1 Day is $15
– 2 Days is $25
– 3 Days is $35
Dog guests with reservations will experience a pop-up ‘splash park’ on the new K9Grass® yard, PLUS 1 fun-photo (sent via email within a week after the event). And if that isn’t enough, your puppy or dog will also receive a ‘go-home’ goodie bag, which will include a free frozen treat voucher and a delicious, dog-approved cookie treat!
If you’d like your dog dried after the event, we’re also offering a discount $5 add-on drying session!
In the event that the weather doesn’t cooperate (aka: Rain!), all registered party goers will receive an email the day before the event with rescheduling information.
Photos will be posted to social media, however, you can expect your dog’s photo to be sent via email up to one week after the event.

Chillin’ & Grillin’ Cheeseburger Party
Join us for our Chillin’ & Grillin’ Cheeseburger Party on Friday, September 18th, 2020! This is a free event, but you must register your dog for PlayCare in order to attend.
Your dog will be able to play with our dog-approved Cheeseburger toys throughout the day and get a picture in our pop-up photobooth for the day!

Outdoor Group Classes
We’re now hosting outdoor group classes for students! We want our human AND canine students to be comfortable coming to class! 💚💙
When we restarted our group sessions, we thought that (given the current circumstances) having them outdoors was the best option. And it WAS! 🐕
☀️ But now, as summer heat (and humidity) has increased, we’re concerned about the comfort level of you AND your dogs. So, here’s our revised/reworked description of our outdoor classes:
- Weather permitting, classes will be outdoors. (Rain, heat, and high humidity will be considered unfavorable conditions.)
- If weather is unfavorable, we’ll be indoors
- In both cases, current social distancing guidelines will be followed and updated as needed
✅ Private in-home and at-school lessons are available, as well as FastTrack (play and train) and virtual private and class options are also available.

VectorFog Machine
We’ve just welcomed a new addition to our sanitizing line up: A VectorFog machine!!! Recommend to us by a student who uses it in his medical practice, this ULV cold fogger completely sanitizes and disinfects any area it’s used in. It uses epa-approved human- and animal-safe disinfectants, and, prior to fogging, all surfaces are manually disinfected. Because we think being ‘extra’ is the way go with things like sanitation and safety. 💪🏻 If you have any questions, please reach out to us! We want you to know that the health and safety of everyone in our facility is always our primary focus!
Now Available To Students: AquaPaws SS Underwater Treadmill System!
AquaPaws SS is a unique underwater treadmill system specifically designed to give dogs the benefits of aquatic therapy for training and conditioning with increased cardio and muscle strengthening, rehab from injury, and general exercise for wellness and weight loss.

Add-Ons: If your dog has a longer coat, or is prone to matting, you can add a pre-brush out or blow dry to your dog’s appointment depending on their size and coat length for an additional fee.
